On Monday we were delighted to announce its first wave of special releases to celebrate 20 years of Doctor Who audio adventures… Two new box sets of audio adventures are coming out soon from Big Finish Productions in arrangement with BBC Worldwide.
Coming out this November, Sylvester McCoy’s calculating and comic Seventh Doctor returns with two companions from the Virgin Books’ New Adventures of Doctor Who: Yasmin Bannerman plays Roz Forrester and Travis Oliver plays Chris Cwej in Doctor Who – Seventh Doctor: The New Adventures.
Two new adventures are also being released for the bohemian Fourth Doctor adapted from the comic strip by Pat Mills and Dave Gibbons that featured in Doctor Who Magazine (when it was Doctor Who Weekly). Doctor Who: The Comic Strip Adaptations will be released in March 2019.
Time has gone terribly wrong, and to correct things, the Doctor may lose someone he loves… the latest story in the Doctor Who Main Range came out Tuesday, starring Sylvester McCoy as the Seventh Doctor, Bonnie Langford as Mel and Sophie Aldred as Ace in Doctor Who – Red Planets, out now.
London, 2017. Except... it isn't. Berlin, 1961. But it isn't that either. Not really. Not in the timeline the Doctor knows. Something is very wrong.
Four new adventures were released from the era of the Eleventh Doctor this Wednesday. Narrated by Jacob Dudman, these stories reunite the Eleventh Doctor with some familiar faces in The Eleventh Doctor Chronicles – all that we can say is… Geronimo!
Jeremiah Bourne came out last month, and listeners and reviewers have really been enjoying this change in direction – from WW2 period drama to classical legal cases, and now a comedy – in the Big Finish Originals range. We looked at all the reviews for this release on Thursday.
Jeremiah Bourne is a boy with a remarkable gift. He can travel in time. Not by using a time machine, or stepping through a dimensional portal. It just happens to him, as though by accident. One minute he’s in the present day, the next, he’s a hundred years in the past, standing in the London of 1910.
