Outlander and Sanditon actor Alexander Vlahos returns as Dorian Gray, alongside Hugh Skinner (Fleabag, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again) as vampire Tobias Matthews in a beautifully nostalgic narrated audio drama.

London, 1987. As Dorian and Tobias approach their first anniversary, each reflects on the time they’ve spent with one another. From the day they first met on the Royal Crescent to their most recent adventures in Mayfair, both have secrets they’ve been concealing from the other... but now is the time to make their most heartfelt confessions.

The Confessions of Dorian Gray: The Anniversary, written by Scott Handcock, is now available to order as a limited-edition vinyl LP (+ download for just £17.99), which comes with an exclusive art print signed by Alexander Vlahos, exclusively here. The download-only version is also available for just £8.99.

This special release features bonus download content including behind-the-scenes interviews with cast and crew; a suite of incidental music; and an additional short story, Gray Matters, read by Alexander Vlahos.

Alexander Vlahos said: “The relationship between myself as Dorian and Hugh as Toby is always fascinating to play, so what we effectively have is one side of the vinyl with Dorian writing a love letter to Toby, and the other is a letter from Toby to Dorian. We get to hear the two sides of the story, and it doesn’t matter in what order you listen to them, the A or the B side first, you just get to hear more from these wonderful characters. We’re looking into the psyche of two fascinating people.”

Hugh Skinner added: “I can’t believe it’s been ten years. It’s definitely the longest of any character I’ve done. I like [Dorian and Toby’s] relationship a lot and I find their stories very moving. In terms of Dorian Gray, I love nostalgia and I can’t get enough of it.”
