The Big Finish sound player has been updated so it doesn't completely depend on Flash technology. In short, this means that it is now possible to listen to trailers and podcasts on mobile devices that do not support Flash (this mainly covers devices such as iPads, iPods and iPhones). There are cases where you will continue to use the old flash player.These circumstances are explained below:

- For browsers that are capable of playing mp3s, the browser will play the trailers/podcasts in a new non-flash player. This relies on in-built browser behaviour and is quicker to load than the old flash player.

- For browsers that are not able to play mp3s and not HTML5 compatible the site will fall back to the old flash player (this covers primarily Firefox, Opera and older versions of Internet Explorer).

Your device or browser will detect the best way to play the sound file so you don't have to worry about a thing. Clever little elves!
