It’s the near future, and mankind has expanded its presence in space. Maintaining law and order beyond Earth is the responsibility of the International Space Police Force, known colloquially as the Star Cops. Their leader is Commander Nathan Spring. 

Based on the BBC television series created by Chris Boucher, Star Cops – Blood Moon is a mini-series of six full-cast audio drama episodes, starring members of the TV show’s original cast. 

In last month's penultimate instalment, London Zone, the trouble mounted up for Inspector Colin Devis (Trevor Cooper) as he returned to Earth on a personal mission. He found himself deep in the criminal underworld, in danger difficult to escape from. 

The story comes to a dramatic conclusion today, in Star Cops – Blood Moon: Devis by Roland Moore, which follows on from London Zone’s cliffhanger ending as Commander Nathan Spring (David Calder) and Chief Superintendent Pal Kenzy (Linda Newton) rush to come to Devis’ rescue.

The Star Cops are engaged in a desperate battle against time as the consequences of Devis’s search for Sophie play out to a tragic conclusion. 

Also in the cast of Star Cops – Blood Moon: Devis are Rosa Coduri as Sophie, Steve Nicolson as Harvey Copeland, Lynsey Murrell as Inspector Alice Okoro, and Philip Olivier as Inspector Paul Bailey.
